![]() ![]() Took me literally five seconds to think of this, I'm sure if some smart people actually put their minds to it they could figure an even better way to handle the issue of most players refusing to plan and getting stuck. A refueling ship warps in after a minute or two in which the player gets to contemplate his or her sillines in not preparing for the journey, drops half a tank of thamium and a snide remark or two, takes a cut of the players bank account for services rendered (its not like you're in a position to bargain at that point), boom! Done! Everyone gets to get where they are going, there is an actual reason to plan ahead and make sure you actually have a full fuel tank, and my autism is no longer tirggered. Add a comms option for emergency refueling, set the price at a set percentage of current units, make gold, thamium and silver normal planetary resources, and DELETE the insane, unending asteroid fields. I realise its a way to make sure players have access to fuel if they fail to plan ahead, but I can think of a better way to solve that gameplay issue, in a more immersive and less silly way. For the love of G-d, this is ridiculous! As it stands now, most of the mass of the Universe is actually asteroids. ![]()
